Flipside Afterschool

Welcome to Flipside!

Flipside combines learning and fun during out-of-school times!

Flipside is an out-of-school-time program for Middle School age youth, that is intentionally designed to have a positive impact on student achievement, skill and social development.  Flipside is partially funded with grants from the Minnesota Department of Education, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and Ramsey County Public Health.  These grants allow us to provide high quality programming for very low or no cost to students and families in order to eliminate financial barriers that can limit access and participation.  Flipside provides a variety of academic, enrichment and physical activities that support the social, emotional, physical and academic development of middle school age youth afterschool, summer and non-school days throughout the year.

Meals: All in-person summer session students receive a free breakfast and lunch at school.
Transportation: Districtwide transportation is available for eligible students who attend in-person programming.  See SPPS Transportation Guidelines. Families will receive an email with transportation information. The email lists details about where and when to get on and off the bus. Please arrive at the bus stop five minutes before the bus is scheduled to pick up your child. Track the status of your child’s bus on our school’s website or the Bus Status app.
Student Rights & Responsibilities: District sponsored Summer Camps will follow the same Student Rights and Responsibilities as we have during the school year. Read the Rights & Responsibilities Handbook.
