National Junior Honors Society

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) chapter of Highland Park Middle School is a chartered and affiliated chapter of the national organization. Selection to the HPMS chapter is based on five criteria: scholarship (cumulative GPA of 3.60 or higher), leadership, service, citizenship, and character.

Applications for NJHS are typically made available at the end of third quarter, in 7th grade.  The induction ceremony is in late May.
