Highland Park Middle School Students Participate in Service Project in Elementary Schools

Highland Park Middle School has a new service leadership project. This year, HPMS partnered with five elementary schools (Horace Mann School, Expo Elementary, Adams Spanish Immersion, Paul and Sheila Wellstone Elementary and Highland Park Elementary School).

Students selected pen pals to write to, and last week they got to go into those elementary schools and do their service. Students read in Spanish and English to K-3 students and also played games. HPMS students took snacks to share as well.

Eighth graders at HPMS participated this year, with the goal of having every grade do the service project in coming years.
