Staff Profile

I first started teaching in 2012, and I started teaching at Highland Park Middle School in 2021.  I teach 6th grade math in the Spanish Immersion Program (Team Pumas). I believe that everyone is a "math person", and that when given the right support and encouragement, all students can feel and experience math success. In my free time, I enjoy running, listening to podcasts, going on outdoor adventures, and exploring National Parks.

Este es mi undécimo año como maestra y estoy muy feliz de estar en Highland Park Middle School. Enseño matemáticas de sexto grado en el Programa de Inmersión en Español (Equipo Pumas). Creo que todas las personas son "personas de matemáticas", y que cuando se les da el apoyo apropriado, todos pueden sentir y tener el éxito en las matemáticas. En mi tiempo libre, disfruto correr, escuchar podcasts, hacer aventuras afuera y explorar parques nacionales.
