Mr. Chris Steenberg

Hello!  My name Is Chris Steenberg and I teach P.E. here at Highland Middle.  This is my 8th year teaching at Highland.  Along side teaching P.E. I am the athletic director of the middle school.  One of my passions is coaching.  That is one of the main reasons I decided to follow a career in teaching.  I coach soccer, basketball, softball, and baseball.  

As for my backround, I grew up in Crystal Lake, Illinois, a small suburb of Chicago.  I graduated from Hamline University with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education and Health.  Playing sports has always been the thing I love to do most.  So, I am thrilled to be teaching physical education here at Highland Middle.
